Aluminum composite pipe, multilayer composite pipe 16 x 2 mm with 6 mm insulation, 50 m roll
Fully insulated metal composite pipes are particularly suitable for piping systems in plumbing and heating technology, as well as for industrial process heat and plant engineering that needs to transport heat and cold.
The liner pipe is made of special PE-RT with increased temperature resistance according to DIN 16 833.
This plastic-metal composite pipe is ideal for underfloor heating, connections to radiators, and drinking water installations. It can withstand a maximum pressure of 10 bar for over 50 years at a continuous temperature of 70 °C. The maximum permissible operating temperature is 95 °C, and it can withstand temperatures of up to 110 °C for short periods.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use these pipes for heating and plumbing?
Yes, both aluminum composite pipes and multilayer composite pipes with insulation are suitable for hot water, cold water, and heating systems. They meet all relevant standards and offer a durable, safe, and energy-efficient solution.
What is the difference between an aluminum composite pipe and a multilayer composite pipe with insulation?
There is no difference. The term multilayer composite pipe is a generic term, while aluminum composite pipe already indicates the specific material composition (with an aluminum layer).
What is an insulated aluminum composite pipe suitable for?
An insulated aluminum composite pipe is ideal for heating systems, plumbing installations, and cooling lines. The integrated insulation reduces heat loss, prevents condensation, and ensures energy-efficient installations – in both residential and commercial settings.
